Year: 1996 Two Door Wagoneer
Model: Cherokee
Engine: 4.0L
84 and 85 Wagoneers. Only two years with the 21 slot grill. I had two of those grills (not the cars). Made an MJ guy real happy when I sold them. He will have a really nice looking truck! I still get calls about those grills from hopeful people. I had a 21 slot on my two door 96 until I put the quad light waggie on it.
84 to 85 Wagoneer Header panel and grill
86 to 90 Wagoneer Header panel/grill
Now what is really rare here, but not factory, is the Two Door body with the Wagoneer front. Never was made by AMC or Chrysler.

Briarwood was the continuation, sort of, of the Wagoneer theme, a tarted up XJ with all the bells and whistles. I can't recall the years available, but not many. Last waggie was 90. First Briarwood was 91. I think Jeep even tried to identify it as a different model than the Cherokee. Kind of like they did with the Wagoneer. Just confused people in my opinion. Especially when they sold a "base" Wagoneer without the wood grain.

Amber fire pearl. Only available in 2001. I've only seen one in person and it was back in 01 at a dealership. Been trying to buy one the last few years. Almost bought a 2 wheel drive just to have one that color. 3 have gotten away so far because one was only two wheel, and the others were only for sale for like two days and by the weekend ,which is the only time I would have been able to check them out ,they were sold. Haven't found one in about a year and have bought a couple cherokees since but I would sell all four of mine to buy an amber one if it was in great shape.

And lastly Magenta. Apparently available in 97 but I never could find a picture of one even. Plenty of 96 and under. Have even seen a few in person but never a 97.

There was a thread somewhere, not sure if it was on CF or another forum. There was someone who was attending a tech school or something and they painted his amber at the school. It turned out really nice. This color inspired me to have my bike painted back in 01. It's not the same color but better IMO. It's a very flakey silver base, 3 coats then 3 coats of a candy orange top coat. Guy only charged me $200. First he stripped and primed everything also.

How about my mechanics '89 Limited with a V6 (I'm not mistaken). It's 3 feet wider. It's for sale for $15k last I checked. It was a just for fun build. And he's going to sell it to start his next for fun project.
