the point is, he did what he needed to to figure it out.

you know those people who will only extend their effort on the xj so far as pimping it out with advance-auto stick on accessories, and join a forum about it, then always settle on taking it to a shop....he's saying that they should get off the forum.

yeah, we all started out somewhere. but we weren't internet sallys about it. we asked questions and aren't afraid of trying something...what's the worst that could happen? it needs to be done, and alot of us are smart enough to know that none of this is very hard. it just takes time...and I'd rather spend my time than money.

The point hes making is that HE WAS IN THEIR SHOES.. difference is he figured it out and asked questions when needed. Some don't even try anymore, they just take it to a mechanic.

My cousins like that, the mechanic is a moron yet still goes there for anything and everything.

Ok jag off did you read one thing I said or are you not capable. And like I said when it came to Jeeps I met some Jeep people and now I return the favor. This weekend I am giving a local Matt a drag link and showing him how to install it and do a wheel aliment. As for how I got started my first truck the starter went out and its not rocket science, look at it. Those bolts come out those wires come off. Not complicated. Unlike dealing with a-holes like you. I never said I look down on any one. I said I started out working on stuff in my driveway and in parking lots. Thing is I didn't use it as an excuse to be lazy. Middle school no sweet hart I'm 26. Insecure not quite. ***** more like your worst nightmare. I'm sorry if you are able to read this it probably took up all your free time and now you have no time to practice your half time cheer. And oh ya love the skirt cutie.

By the way, it's "jack-off", not "jag off."

Really listen I have been out of high school for quite some time now and don't care to hear your smug remarks while your studying for your next test. If you have anything valid to say I would love to hear it. Otherwise do your self and the word a favor and go kill your self.

"Next test"? Kiddo, I'm old enough to be your Daddy (seriously.)

Chill out. I don't know you from Adam, and ain't looking to pick a fight... But you're strutting around like a rooster that don't remember he was once a baby chick himself.

Help people here, don't hate 'em. Peace, my friend. This is a hobby, not a religion.

The point of this tread is that there is no point in telling other peoples shops what to do. If they take it to a shop the shop should know whats wrong and how to fix it. I'm all for helping out anyone but that is a person not a company.

What did you say? Here's what I had a problem with:

You assumed in your original message that people somehow had it easier than you did. No offense, but that's not a fair assumption to make.

There are a lot of people in this world who never make it as far as visiting, let alone registering, for an Internet forum dedicated to a vehicle... they just call Mommy or Daddy to tow it to a dealership and "make it all better." In contrast, most people are here to learn.

All I ask is that you realize that not everybody got here the same path you did... but they're here. No reason to **** on them.

As I meant before... Peace, dude. Internet slap-fights ain't that interesting to me.

Wow one thing I loved about leaving school was getting away from all the drama. Even tho this is better than high school drama bc it's about jeeps and cars. People seriously need to learn to not get so offensive over a thread on a website that helps people talk about jeeps and helps them learn about jeeps.

I wrote how I started because people were using no garage as an excuse. I never pissed on anyone I just do not see the point in telling someones shop what to do. My original message is the one that started this thread and I have been chiming in ever since. As for the same path I took. Trust me no one else did. You have no idea were I come from and what obstacles I have over come. And being on this form. I got my first $300 lap top just a few months ago before that I posted from my phone that I could not post a new thread only help people. That went on for close to a year. You need to read what is posted before you comment. Your Idea you have of me is almost the polar opposite of the truth. I am not a fan of cat fights on line ether but trust me if you had read before you posted this would not have happened. Go back and check it out.

What is the point in answering 3 separate post in a row only to here "ok that is what I will tell my shop when I take it in". Thats is what started this thread and I'm sorry for the drama I didn't really anticipate that people would spout there mouths off before reading a thing. My mistake. People who run there mouths without knowing what they are talking about is a weakness of mine. Sorry
