Default REGRETS....

We all have them. What's are some regrets you guys got about your jeep? My biggest regret would be not leaving stock. It drove like a charm in the high way. Now I can't even hit 45mph until the death wobble comes in. Not to mention all the money I spend on crappy lift parts (first time newbee). I'm in the border line of wether to sell the jeep and buy a normal beater or continue with the build. I miss driving in the high way =( What are YOUR regrets?

I regret spending the time and money on a JCR one ton steering kit only to have it cause severe bump steer and death wobble. I went back to the stock setup with a drop pitman arm and my ZJ drives like a dream. I also regret having a sunroof. It doesn't leak, but it doesn't open either.

I thought you had a boner for RC? At least based on your past posts...

Oh well, I guess we all see the light eventually.

As in regurgitate? AKA puking, vomiting, hurling, tossing your cookies, worshiping the porcelain throne?

Not buying one in nicer condition. Mine was in such bad shape mechanically when I bought it it has just been a headache... I've spent enough money just fixing it, that if I had spent the $ on buying a nicer one to begin with I could have done more mods/upgrades vs just fixing it.

You learned that spending more for a nicer rig and buying a beater to fix up costs about the same in the long run.

Probably more... I refuse to total it up, but I think, NOT including the purchase of the vehicle, and the FREE lift kit, I have over $6k invested into it, and outside of a set of LED lights that cost me

Selling the XJ Laredo I bought new in 1990. It was a fully loaded 4 dr. I wanted a 2 dr. at the time but with kids on the way a 4 dr. was the way to go. I now have 1995 2 dr.
