Just saw this thread mentioned elsewhere. Amazing sights, and documented very well! Beautiful country out there, wish I could get down there some day.

Default Chains?! We don't need no stinckin' chains!

Went on a road trip ourselves to Yosemite! White Christmas!
1st pic, at BridalVeil Falls, 2nd pic on Hwy 41 near South Gate Yosemite, 3rd Pic near Fish Camp. The CHP asked me if I had 4wd, then waived me thru the chain control area! Woohoo.

Truly amazing. This type of trip is what a Jeep is made for. I hope my XJ gets to see sights like that sometime

Looks like one fun trip! Excellent photography skills as well, my cheapo camera only dreams of taking pictures that detailed.

FI ADDICT -- Where in So Ca do you live ??? I also tend to travel alone most of the time. Trying to get my so to go with me on Spring Break this year. If you are near Oceanside, CA ; give me a shout and we can talk some XJ and maybe caravan somewhere ????

Well, I am near the oceanside, but closer to Santa Cruz, Ca. A bit
north of you, but would love to try and meet with you on your next excursion. I like the camera class idea!
