Default Rock Sliders

My friend and I are going to Fab up some rock sliders while im on Spring Break and I was just wondering if there are some thing i SHOULD know before we start. He has 2x2 bars we are going to use. I have searched and read up on things but was just wondering if there were stuff i should specifically do like how to tie it in with the unibody and stuff. Any info would be helpful.

As many points of attachment as possible. Several on the unibody and along the pinch welds! If you plan to weld them on beef up the unibody with some plate. There are several ways to do it but the key is to have them attach all over! And use some decent wall tube.

Depends on what you are going to bounce them off of lol. Mine were .375 lmao. But thats only because thats what i had laying around. .25 or 3/16 would be great.

1/8 Might be good enough but will probably dent or puncture easier. But if you are going for looks use what ever!

Nope, I want it to be functional. I think it might be 1/8 or maybe bigger(I hope), and also its free to me so as long as i can get some use out of them i will be happy until i get something more hefty.
