I only looked at, seems okay. If there is a sure way to check that I don't know it. Besides the roof, do you mean those vertical "bars" that come up attached to the windshield?

Guy in my town had an XJ and I always noticed it until one day I saw it upside down in a ditch...now it's chopped and matte olive drab green, with the spare Baja style, like its mounted almost like its leaning against the new rear windshield, in the bed. Pretty slick imo

There are several "resurrection" threads on NAXJA and pirate from rolls and flops. You have a lot to read and learn if you're going to do anything with this.

Edit: it is on jeep forum and it's called "project high roller aka pepper 2.0"
Just search that in Google and a build thread should be in the search results

There's a new problem to the equation. That hole in my roof let in a bunch of melting snow that froze the next morning. It looks about four inches deep on the passenger side floor. I only noticed because as i walked past the jeep, i saw that my radio was on. The water that got in must be messing with my wiring somehow. Anybody heard of this? Will it dry and fix itself, or will i also have to replace wiring? I know it's coming, so I'll add: i don't have a tarp yet. Thanks for any help.
