roof rack crossbars
The other day I seen an XJ with flat, straight roof rack crossbars (i dunno the technical name). What the heck? I've only ever owned or seen the curved crossbars?

It was completely stock. It was mounted in the little sliders and everything. The rack was identical to my factory one, OTHER than the crossbars...

I think I've seen some people mount square tubing for their crossbars. Maybe something like that?

That may have been it. I didn't get a very close look at it. I was hoping some XJ's came with flat bars. Is there any way to flatten and trim the stock ones? That'd make it much easier to mount an aftermarket basket...
