Why not spend the 300 on a cheep welder. Then imagine what you could make. After all you can't rivet or zip screw a bumper. And ARB and woren have been screwing people for years.

i bend conduit for a living (some call me an electrician), so i made sure everything was perfect, no kinks in the 90's and if you take your time and know how to properly set a self tapping screw, it will be rock solid.

i considered welding the joints once i was all done, but when it was assembled i realized how solid it was.
I don't mind at all, just post pics when you can, i would like to see. And yes it is extremly strong. What did you do for the corners? Did you put thin aluminum diamond plate like me?

Any takers.
I have a lot going on family wise right now to build another one but the problem is the way i build mine, the shipping size would still be pretty big, 21" x 58" which would put the shipping cost around 100 bucks or so.

Well my roof rack project is on the back burner as I picked up a con-ferr 4ft x 7ft rack the other day for dirt cheap. I may finish my EMT rack and put it up for sale.

Does it feel sturdy using the pre bent 90*s and the couplers? I considered doing it this way but thought it might have too much wiggle because those couplers aint very snug. It look great but was wondering how strong it felt before I do it myself.
