tow your xj becuase of long arms wow. if you're running a sway bar it's going to have the same body roll no matter what.. long arms are perfectly safe for on road use. the OP should've gotten the long arm kit for a couple bucks more

3 link vs 4 link long arms. 4 link better for dd by far

i want to do a lift kit but its gettin difficult to decide, so much info to take in for a first timer. I think a 3 inch kit is gonna work just fine for me for now with full leafs in back.

Someone's on crack... I've only had my long arms on for a couple weeks now, but we daily drive it every day, it's a WHOLE lot better on the highway than it was with the short arms. And I didn't even go with a 4 link, mine is a radius arm setup. LOVE IT

I'v had two cherokees in the past with long arms and they work pretty awesome! For the first couple of years, then because there's no frame everything becomes loose and starts to wobble and there's no stopping it, one I just sold, the other we made a bunch of fabricated pieces to see if we could correct the issues and it worked pretty good for a wile, the problem is the metal on the unibody i so thin that welding well is not an option so you kinda have to stick to bolts, I guess it helps if you get a really good quality kit, make sure the bracket that attaches to the body has at leas 3 to 4 bolts on each side, I guess it really comes down to how rough you wheel, if anybody plans to use your cherokee as a DD as well and not crawl to hard on it, I will do fine, I got another Xj with adjustable short arms and relocation brackets, like it so far, tested it lightly in the trails and a bit of mud and did very well, got yet to do some crawling on it and I'll post my experience when I do.

No disrespect to anyone intended, just sharing my experience.

P.S. Sold the second one because I wanted to try short arms on it but when you install the long arms you cut the factory brackets/supports off then you kinda hit a point of no return.

I have that lift with 33s and it seems to be pretty reliable.

If I disconnect the sway bars, I don't rub much. Actually I haven't at all yet.

Get the right wheel backspacing (3.75) and make sure you get the contorl arm drop and an SYE.
