I just ordered the 4.5" full leaf x-flex yesterday and got the tracking number today that said it should arrive to my door on Tuesday. Fast shipping so far.

I know it has more to go if I disconnect the shocks but riding with out them would really suck lol

Not saying anything bad or bashing on the product. I think they make a good product but the shocks seem like they were meant for a 4.5 lift
That's the difference between RC and others. I got that much on my Rusty's 6.5 short arm kit. When I upgraded to the Rusty's Long Arm kit, my XJ had a crazy amount of flex.

I've been happy with my 4.5" short-arm kit so far. It installed easily, everything works, etc. No, it may not be OMFG e-cool, but I still feel as though it's a solid product for the price.

Edit: Hmmm, interesting, didn't realize I've never posted here before. Guess I've been lurking...

Despite what most people think, I believe that this is a great company. Like others before it that started out rough they changed and made a better company out of them self.

That and I just called them for some shackles and I get them tuesday unlike may from 4 wheel parts

I'm going to revive this because RE just went under and I bow have to go looking for a lift.

The biggest complaint I have heard about RC is that their shocks are garbage and they leaf packs sag very badly after about a year. Is this problem old and has been now corrected or is it a problem still?

Thanks
Jon

ive had my 3" rc lift for about 6 months now and no complaints about it. plus all their lifts are affordable from the smallest to the biggest

talking about lift kits for different brands is like talking about different vehicles and their brands. everyone has their preference on what they like. there are times that you do have a bad experience with a brand no matter what the product. however it can happen with any of them its just luck of the draw. its pretty lame when a person has one bad experience with something and they just sit there and bash on it and tell everyone to avoid that product when half the time its their own fault when something doesnt go according to plan

yep loving my 4.5 full leaf packs, everything about the kit was A+, instructions were kinda vague but that's where Cherokee forum came in! Great kit, would recommend it.

The shocks aren't to brag about, but that goes for every kit I've seen that didn't have bilstiens included. I can say that I am very, very happy I went full leaf packs instead of add a leafs. I absolutely love this lift and can't wait to add a long arm to it.
While I didnt order mine from Grimus...

I absolutely 100% agree, with Donnie K.
I have the exact same lift and my RC lift is a F***ING ROCK! I have never had any problems with it what-so-ever.

well since im fixing to spend about 1700 dollars with this company on monday this thread has officially scared the hell out of me. Ordering a 6.5 LA and SYE. I seriously hope that some of these things are just isolated incidents. One of the things that impressed me most was that they offered their best shocks stock with the package. Everyone else wants you to upgrade but if the 2.2s are really that crappy it makes the price difference pretty much obsolete. Well maybe ill have to do some more looking around this weekend.
