Default The Score Now Jeep 1 Nature 1

Took my son out the Grand Cherokee today, to teach him snow and ice driving. Unfortunately, at some point this happened:

I think it happened when we hit a rather large snowball that turned out to be an ice ball, but it may have been something else, too. There are two rivets that hold the bumper cover to the wheel well cover. One of them, the upper one, is gone. The holes aren't broken, so it may have just come off, meaning this could have happened about any other time, too. No big deal. I'll replace the plastic rivet and the crack will be held securely enough. It's barely visible if you aren't specifically looking for it.

And somewhere along the way, in some snowbank we were defeating, we picked up a passenger:

Probably got nailed first by a plow, then dragged away by the GC. Oh well.

So the score is now

Mother Nature: 1
Jeep: 1

Well, I replaced the bolt with a metal one, and you can barely see the crack in the bumper. I'll get some bondo bumper repair stuff, and it should all be golden!

Looks like what would happen to any "car" with six inches of ground clearance. Your bumper is telling you it does not like to be so close to the ground.

Haha. Yeah, a lift would be nice, but it'll have to be my boys who put it on there, if they want it. It's mostly their truck. My extra money is going to my Speed 6.

Yep. That's my zoom-zoom. BOne stock so far, but saving for an upgraded top mount, down pipe, CAI, and Access Port. Should have a solid 300 or so to the wheels when all is said and done...someday...

Fun car! Bet that thing would put 3 series bimmers to shame. For a 2.3l engine it makes some good power numbers. With those mods add some more boost and get it tuned and you would break 300 easy.
