sorry, i just like hunting down vehicles too, especially in this case. Its pretty fun. I once got very close to finding one of the original smokey and the bandit trucks. hit a random dead end at one point.

Ok so now I'm actually a lot more hopeful. I received the names of the last registered owners. It is a 62 years old couple. I then found their address and phone number. I will call tomorrow. I did do a google satilite of the address and the farm part is looking possible.

Here is a picture of the possible location of the jeep somewhere.lol

I agree. I'm sure that was an extreme measure to look for it. No stone un turned. Worst case they should be able to tell me who or where they sold it.

Try looking in bing maps (seriously) the birds eye is pretty great, and can give multiple angles

Haha. That would really be funny.

I do wonder how long I should give them to call me back. I may try again after 5:00 then wait a week and try again. If that fails I will mail them a letter or something.

Could mail them a picture of their property and tell them give me my Jeep back lolz.

No happy ending here. Atleast I do have and ending

Search is over. The man gave it away last year to a guy. He said he knew that guy scraped it at a metal yard. lol

He told me it had about 340k miles whem he quit driving it. It had tranny issues. Im guessing it did not have the AX15. Apperently the engine was still orginal. The person he got it from fixed it cheap. Im happy that I don't have to wonder about it anymore I guess.
