We've all had those thoughts. I bought a Patriot and abandoned my XJ with my parents. Couple months later I came crawling back. You'll be back.

You will love how much quieter a ZJ is than an XJ, you'll love how much easier it is to get in and out of it, and you will love how well a ZJ performs off road. ZJs just get a bad rap for some reason.

And that reason is a little thing known as a Chrysler 42RE. Apart from that and the LP D30 front axle, ZJs are awesome, especially when built up nicely.

I'm a fan of ZJs, actually was going to buy one last year but another member on here got it first. I'd never give up my xj though.

Only if abused and not taken care of. I see just as many posts on the forum about AW4s having problems.

Whenever I feel like selling my XJ, I just stop and be awesome instead. True story.

I had a ZJ, sold it to get the XJ I own now. ZJ is more roomy inside, more expensive to mod, doesn't look as clean if trimmed, more top heavy. but if you don't want to go higher then 3.5" lift or run larger then 31's ZJ's are awesome.
