SHOCKS!
What is a good place/site to get a set of front and rear shocks for a 2" lifted xj but for cheap? my stock shocks are shot and I am looking for something under $300 ideally around $200-250

I like my Nitro shocks from Zone offroad. I'm sure there are better out there but they will cost you. They'd run you 160 for the 4.

New suspension...3"
I get my xj back tomorrow and I think I got the Bilstein 5100. My jeep guy talked me into it. He said it was worth the extra $. I just added new suspension all around. 3" mixed and matched. I will post when I find out what was added. I'm new to this forum stuff so be kind. I love my XJ, its an everyday with extra for offroad. Ill try to add some pics later. Like before and after. I have stock tires and will have to wait for 32's until I pay off the suspension upgrade.

If ur buying shocks for a 2" BB then theres no need to spend that much with Bilstein 5150's because that level is not needed with what ur intentions are. However, if u were at 6"+ & had ur rig built up nice to tackle some moderate plus trails, Bilstein 5100's & up is the way to go!!
My advice, buy low budget shocks for now & if u decide to go bigger in ur build, then make the jump then. Hope that helps!!
