ok I will bite.

I wasn't talking about jeeps, I came from off road racing on two wheels. Doesn't matter though, you either are a breaker of parts, or you are not.

This was called texas stadium. My old pos bike there has over a hundred thousand miles on it. Its a 440lbs street/trail bike. The bike is not even a dirt bike, it weighs twice as much. This obstacle was tried by the best riders in the world. David Knight had to push his bike up this. I was lucky enough to ride it up. Outside of my camera moments. However I will say that David did not have the length of time I had. So even though he pushed his bike, he made it up faster which was the goal.






Now my only point being is I rode down to texas with this old bike. Wheeled on arguably the roughest course in the united states, and rode it home.

This is what I meant be having a knack to do crazy lines, and not break stuff.

Its basically a feel for your machine. Some guys have it, some guys just hammer till something breaks. And just because you don't break stuff does not mean you are not taking the hard lines.

I have the same feel for the jeep. Hopefully it keeps getting me back home every time.


Wouldn't this place be awesome to wheel in with the jeeps!! LOL Its much steeper than it looks. Don't know if it would be possible.

.One thing i have learned through my few years on the internet.

People think a certain way. And if you go against that way, you always will run into problems no matter how civil you try and be.

With that old bike I had no one ever believed me LOL They fought me hand and foot saying this or that could not be done. Everytime I posted something that the KLR would do, how how well it worked in a certain area. Everyone on the internet would say I was lying. I was stupid, bla, bla, bla.

And so here I am doing the same thing. And running into the same problems.

IF people do well with a lesser machine, it pisses people off. And I just don't know why?

Alright, I can see that. Its hard when I can't actually wheel with you.

My only claims so far is that YOu can wheel in fairly rough terrain and have a ball without a locker. That thread got completely blown out of proportion.

You can flex without spending boo koo amounts of money.

And I may be able to wheel big tires with inadequate axles(yet to be proven)

And I think thats it? LOL

This has a 9 inch in it. It's got 33x12.50 s on it. It's a perfect size.

so do you feel like you answered the call? i dont really understand how this started (obviously on another thread), but its pretty entertaining anyways. i've never been interested in a super flexy short arm set up, but its still neat to watch someone else try it.
