Short Arm Flex Pics
This whole long arm "uploading" crap and also hassel of being drove crazy trying to figure out exactly on how i want to build a custom 3-link has bout got me to the point of just buying a good short arm kit with drop down brackets. Im gonna be keeping my lift under 5"s anyways. So, for all those who have short arms, post up some good flex pics, also state what short arm kit you have and tire size.

Tuff Country 3.5 w/spring pack. I put Rocky Road fixed lower contol arms on. Has stock uca's. Adjustable upper & lowers are next upgrade. The TC kit was $750 shipped. Works quite well.Tires are 33 10.50 15 TSL's.

i have posted these pics on this site prob 7-8 times...i need to go wheelin and get some new pics.....this was 5.5''coils stock axles and 35's short arms and drop brkts
and this was with 5.5'' coils 2'' spacer full widths and 37's short arms and drop brkts
i still like my short arm kit but im sure i would like a long arm setup better. but i cant justify ''upgrading'' what i have because it works so well. i still am able to safely drive to and from moab(right around 800 miles round trip, and i dont own a tow rig....yet). just prob doesnt ride as well as a long arm.....

long arms are kind of a waste of money. once you unseat that coil it aint gunna do ya much good in the way of useable travel. and if the ride quality crap comes up again lets hold your hand and walk you through it...
1- you bought and offroad toy, why are you b****ing about ride quality?
2-you lifted the offroad toy, your still gunna b****?
if it performs on the trail and is safe to drive its a win! mine unseats the 5.5 inch coils about 3 inches (need to strap) which out flexes a buddies long arm jeep if ya think its unsafe let go rally the s.o.a.b. and ill prove to you it goes just fine

flexed great. but when you push short arms to the limit they just dont hold up. I will clarify and say that limit straps probably would have saved my arm from bending. but who thought you would need limit straps on short arms

RC 4.5" coils, ironman4x4's adj arms, procomp long and short aal's on 33s. I would "like" long arms (4link) but my shortys get me everywhere I wanna go.

Yes limit straps are on the list, and if I had long Arms it would still be strapped the same. I guess I just believe that long arms belong to buggies that can use the flex. My old xj had long arms and I saw no improvement in ride compared to my setup now neither better nor worse.
