#18
The top of the roof were i tend to put every thing i cant fit in the back of my jeep haha. Thats what im going to do, i would like to pop off the rack an get some liner on top of there so i wouldint realy have to worry about tearing any thing up there.

It would take a whole lot of heat to warp your hood, if it's getting that hot I'd be more worried about hurting the engine... Also, if your temp gauge is working properly, shouldn't it cut out your engine if you get too hot? I know mine does if I peak into the read for even a second.

I doubt that, search the forums there is a member that has his rig 100% bedlined. You can ask him to know for sure.

Wow realy? Are you that stupid to think that I was implying that it was going to warp the hood of his truck? Im sorry let me clarify, Herculiner and other DIY bed liners are only rated to with stand temps upto about 200 for a short amount of time, so the paint it's self will warp over time thanks to heat. Not only that but it also looks like A$$, hard to wash, and is known to fade over time. But hey do what you think it's not like I've used it or any thing....

As you can see, there are plenty of people who bedline their hoods and I don't see any warping.
Also, if you'd do a little research you'd know herculiner can be used on hoods safely. They even say on their website you can use it anywhere on your car for all over protection and go so far as to post up a picture of a jeep that has been completely herculined.
The U-POL Raptor bedliner that he has is even marketed to protect against damp and extreme temperatures.
You claims of warping in your experience are obviously either flat out lies or stemmed from improper application techniques.
