Looks to be in good condition, miles are low, and it's a good year. Even though RC lifts are not talked about highly on this forum, the owner of that XJ sounds to have done things right with the track bar. Ask about control arms and SYE, test drive it, try to talk the price down a little. Prices vary by region so I'm not sure if that's a good price of not. I don't think OK vehicles would be as rust prone as other parts of the country but can't hurt to poke around the body and underneath to make sure.

Nice Jeep, low miles, check for rust and leaks and drive it on the highway to see if it starts to wobble. Other than that it looks great.

what are those flares on that thing? are they aftermarket ones or just stock ones someone drilled and screwed on?
drivers fender looks to be dented. look how it lines up with the door. take a close look at that.
from what i have read rough country is pretty much bottom of the barrel lift wise. but like stated it sounds like they tried to do it right.
quite of bit of routine maintenance seems to have been recently done.
thats priced kinda on the high side. mileage seems to justify it some but i'd go over it with a fine tooth comb.

I think he wanted to give those stock flares a bushwacker look without the price with those screws. And that's low miles. Looks like the driver fender got hit at some point as that gap looks pushed in

I'm going to ask him if it was hit at any point. I'm buying this to replace my current Cherokee XJ. A lot less miles than mine! I think I'm going to offer 4 and take 4500.

check the gap at the front of the hood. that fender looks typical of a front end hit, maybe a tree while offroading and the door pushed the fender in when it was opened.
also, low mileage usually means it wasn't driven much. cars don't like to sit, they will rust, so check that out.
and, the drivers seat shows signs of higher mileage, hopefully the odometer wasn't tampered with or disconnected for a while.

Yes deservers a closer look for what body damage it might have had and if there is any rust underneath. Price is a bit on the high side might offer $4k to start depending on what you see when you get there.

Not everyone tells the truth. Get the VIN and run a vehicle history report.
Is that a short arm lift? I'm wondering how the ride will be.
Be prepared to crawl all the way up underneath with a flashlight and look around for rust. It lurks.
$5300 seems high to me. People always think their mods make a car worth more, but they don't.

Just went and looked at it. Body had issues and had a frame rot on the right rear unibody side. Offered 4 and he stayed firm at 5 so I walked

My XJ is in perfect condition and he only thing I need to do is upgrades. His would need some straightening out. I do like the allure of the 78,000 miles though.
This is my current setup.
