I dont know the manufacturer of this rack, there are no visible markings on it. My brother gave it to me after he hydro locked his XJ. But its a great rack, the mounts it came with fit the roof rails of 99-01 XJs, they are much taller than the rails on my 87, 4 rail mounts per side.
For right now i have it bolted through the factory cross bars, eventually i want to pick up some gutter mounts for it.
It fits my 60" hi-lift, 33" spare and i have room for a cooler, shovel or any other fun stuff i want to stick up there.

Rack em Up
Home brew rack from 2" .06 wall tube and 1/8 x 3/4 flat bar, all 304 Stainless, (it's what I work with), used tag ends and existing tooling. Cost me $25 for the 18-8 stainless hardware.
All mounted on my multiple stock roof cross members (which have clinch nut inserts to insure the load is actually secured to the roof panel).
You can build your made in the shade rack on the cheap, give a thought to what you may have on hand for materials.

I have a thread with my notes and pictures about the cheaper Curt rack and extension. Someday I'll get something a little sturdier and lower profile but its pretty useful for the $125 or so I ended up getting mine for.
There are a LOT of pictures in the link: https://www.cherokeeforum.com/f59/cu...-heavy-195372/
