Skid Plates?? Tranny Skid or Combo Tranny & Engine Skid (your order of purchases?)
I just purchased differential Skid Plate for front and back, and about to in a minute push the button on a Tomkin Gas Skid.
I also was going to order this Skid Row Transfer Case
http://www.quadratec.com/products/16192_300_07.htm
In order of importance what would you get next. List all please.
1) Transfer Case
2) Transmission
3) Oil Pan
And.... I was on Quadratec site and saw an option for an Engine & Tranny Skid (see link).
http://www.quadratec.com/products/72519_800.htm
Isn't this essentially a Tranny Skid plate which also covers (just some of) oil pan??
Is that sufficient to protect both pieces??
Or....... Should I get a stand alone Oil Pan Skid??
Such as

I appreciate your input greatly!

First one seems like it hangs down lower than the stock one lol
Honestly, you're over thinking this unless you only play in sharp rock piles. Go to the junk yard and get a gas tank skid and transfer case skid and be done with it.
