They look so aweful, why would you do this to a jeep? here's a pic of one they have been trying to sell in Syracuse for about 3 months, started out at $5000, he's now down to $2000 and still can't sell it.

I would love to have a street XJ project someday. I've always dreamed of doing it up hotrod style, with say a black 2dr 2WD lowere about 2-3" with some nice mag or chrome wheels and a fatter rear tire, like a 10.5" radial. Paint the plastic trim gloss black to make it all look clean, nice dual exhaust. A 350 swap and Ford 9" rear would make it that much sweeter. If the Blazer/Jimmy crowd can do it why can't we? I'll leave the big blingin rims to the those folks over on the "other" end of town though...

WHY; just why, in 1000 years would you want to drop a jeep? Go get a honda, leave the jeep for people that know what to do with them.
Not to mention: its not gonna be the easiest thing ever.. New springs, shocks, pry some cutting, gonna have driveshaft length issues, etc...

there is one that i keep seeing in the campus parkinglot and it just looks so horrible. it sits about two maybe three inches off the ground stock tires peeling tints the paint is faded so it almost looks pink
