Exactly. I've been in deeper and worse stuff in 2wd on stock bald street tires, and all you gotta do is throttle out and turn the wheel

some sand/clay is a whole lot slipperier than it will look.

as for the boggers, they are only good if you're going straight or on flat ground. if you're on a side slope, you will only do the same as the op. except you will be able to turn and burn. but sitting on a side slope is just as scary as hell.

glad you didn't go for a swim. did you get any shrooms?

sand is def an issue with all terrains , and baja claws . and simlar tirres . only ones ive used in sand . when using in sand i usually put in 4 lo . and run it in 3rd , this gives you a lot of torque , thus not letting you stick . in two wheel . you will dig a hole with those tires mentioned , and almost never get out if you dont have 4wd , or another rig. also in sand you cant floor it with those tirews . you have to let 3rd let you walk out with ease.

With auto we don't have the option to use 3rd lol and 4 low doesn't spin the tires fast enough and move enough mud out of your way, plus it's only meant for low speed crawling and is bad for the t case.

I wanna see a pic of those tires when you get them washed! It is always I bit freaky the first time you deal with something like this when wheeling. You wanna see paranoid, my roommate was scared to go up a dirt hill, literally just a hill, no ruts, no rocks, not slippery, no surprises... So yea, I can totally see not wanting to get into a worse situation there!

x2 on limited options with an auto for low gearing. You can do the 4 lo, with the tranny shifted into 3rd, but it's still easier to leave it in 4 hi for speed options.

I'll get a pic of them here in just a little bit when I go out side. and the hills never really scare me UNLESS they are super steep like feel like u could flip backward steep. But most of the time I'm fine with the hills, only had to back down one, and the real reason was bc I didn't know what was in the other side. Haha
