does your cubby box put out a lot of bass? I'm planning on putting a 15" sub on my XJ but after seeing this I'm not too sure. I would like one, since it wont take up trunk space but I want a lot of bass.

 

Yes,but I've changed the setup some. Now it has an orion cobalt 10. I blew the MTX! I've also switch my amp to a old school punch 75 for the sub and pulled the factory amp for the doors,replacing it with a old school punch 45HD. You can feel ever beat of my bass! I'm an old school basshead and I love my setup.One 10 is all I need.You can hear me driving up to the house. When I'm parked outside you can hear me inside the house. I had 2 12 power acoustic in a ported box. Running of like 600. They hit realllyyyyy hard for the little amount of power I had going to them. They peak @ 1000 each so they were very under powered lol

 

I had a kicker L7 12 in a wave guide box with a pioner premier 1200 watt amp and two kicker door speakers with tweeters. It was the loudest system out of my friends

 

4 kicker cvrs with 2 550.2 rockford amps

 

Cheap Sony Head unit running 2 Sound Ordnance 5.25 2 way speakers. A Sound Ordnance 1 channel amp pushing a Kicker 12 Comp VR in a Sound Ordnance ported box. Got all of it but that Head unit from Crutchfield. Sounds really awesome in the XJ. I took the sound bar out of the back when i re did my headliner and didnt put it back in. Which reminds me, i have the sound bar for sale and all 4 original speakers as well Sorry for the shameless plug but need some $$.
