my stock 2001 intake, airraid throttle body spacer, 3in snorkle. all that was already there.
im sticking with my tractor exhaust, its easy to change from the straight pipe to an international muffler and sounds great. thats an easy set up... from my down pipe it goes to 2.5in tube no muffler or resonator up the side of my front fender where i can band clamp the tops on. still has stock cats on manifold.
and i dont need a new fuel pump or regulator, the stock specs are pleanty. but im getting mustang injectors. some fancy kind my buddy has...
hopefully it'll be done by then. i just started pulling the engine thats still in there and im getting discouraged. i need a bud and some beers to speed this up.

I have a 4.7 too. I recommend a new radiator and FlowKooler water pump. It's going to run hotter. Noticeable hotter.
When I get ready to put on the supercharger I'm putting in a new radiator and 180 degree thermostat. I'm in Florida and it's always pushing past 215 whenever it idles.
So yours is fuel injected. You plan to carburate it for the propane switch?

I've been toying with the idea of the dual propane. What are your plans for that?

Needless to say those items got replaced.
Expensive ordeal all around.
You should also replace the fuel pump and 02 sensors while you're at it.
NTK ONLY for the 02, and Bosch ONLY for the fuel pump.
Anything else and you'll be replacing the 02 every other week, and the fuel pump every few months.

Im stauying fuel injected. i just have to change the distributer to the old style set up. that bypasses the ecm. and i know i can do the LP but i have to figure out how to make it dual fuel. i just gotta do some modding and find a good way to do it after i get my conversion kit.
ill remember the cooling issue... what compression is yours? also you may wanna go the route i did and get forged internals since you wanna boost yours. i did mine like that for longevity and nitrous.

Every setup I've seen for the propane hasn't been fuel injected. I thought it had to be carbureted?

mine was cracked... drilled and expanded the crack and filled it in. I have coil packs though so i cant switch yet.
once i put the propane to it i have to put a regular old school distributer and change the head anyways. my buddy does all my custom head work for super cheap. i have a spare head in the garage incase it cracks real bad.
