*I'm sure this has already been discussed somewhere else, but I tried a couple of searches and came up empty*
I'm going to swing by a local hardware store later to pick up some paint for my wheels, but that's already discussed. My garage has plenty of tools, except that its a carpentry shop, so they're all the wrong tools . While I'm at the store, what should I pick up for tools? I know what I want for brands, so there is no need debating Snap-On/Blue Point/Craftsman, but I need a decent array of tools, enough to be able to work on my XJ at home without taking it to my grandfather's body shop every ten minutes. My shopping list so far is:
-Rolling Floor Jack
-2 Adequately Rated Jack Stands
-Metric Sockets (shallow & deep)
-Assorted Screwdrivers
-Channel Locks
-Rubber Mallet
If I'm forgetting anything, or I won't need something on the list, please let me know! Thanks guys!

Dare to dream my friend.
You can get some great deals on tools at garage sales and swap meets, most of the tools I leave in the jeep at all times I get second hand. If they get stolen I'm not out much.

Line wrenches, good ones. A torque wrench, torx bits, channel locks. If you jeep is somewhat rusty, as hot of a torch as you can get (oxy, map, propane if you got too) good drill bits and some taps. Angle grinder too...
