Default Steering box 4 Xj

I want to replace Steering Box. I have heard a Dodge Durango box is a direct replacement with no modification. Supposedly bolts right in.

Any other ideas or the above is BS let me know what you think I would be most happy with.
Thanks in advance, Dennis

Does it matter which v8 it is? Cause I keep getting two options for a 318 and 360 on summitracing

I want to thank you all for pointing me in the right direction.

One, the ability to chose the right 98-99 Durango part[non plow] unit.

Also comments of the results as being positive by eliminating the wondering and the improvement in handling.

If anyone is interested I Goggled the subject and it referred me to the this forum and articles as far back as 08, with excellent information.

Thank you again forum, and members.
