I did! Thanks for the advice! I just updated my previous post to include what I did to fix it. I'm new to this forum thing, so I'm still getting the hang of how the reply buttons work.

I accidentally did the same ******* thing, but fortunately after being dragged out of- way to much muddy water managed to start after a few attempts.
One of the perks of a diesel.

Did the cab flood out, or did you stay dry indoors?

If you got in that deep you have water in everything trans, transfer case, differentials not to mention electrical connections that will show up later.


Yes I bet the inside did get very "WET"! This applies to a lifted XJ as well as to how far you can submerge one without other mods.

I had quite a bit of water inside. It toasted my amp and speakers, but everything else seems OK so far. It drained out pretty quick though since I have a nice rust hole in the passenger floor board.
