Default Storage options

Okay guys, dumb girl question here..... I have an '01 Cherokee Limited and it has almost no storage options up front! Ughhh, not that I need more than the two cupholders, no funny girl comments needed cause the hubby doesn't like the options either - LOL, but....there are no pockets in the doors or cubby's.
Anyone have any options or thoughts that they have found out there?

Thanks for the help!

No pockets on Limited doors? Wow, you folks with newer models got cheated! My '92 Ltd has pockets on both front doors. Seriously though, there is a vendor who's selling bolt on pockets for XJ doors. If you like, I can look it up later to see who it is.

Apart from that, there's not much else you can do for front storage in your year XJ. Maybe swap door panels with another XJ that has pockets? Those things that hang on the seat back can work too, but I personally don't like 'em because of prying eyes. I just use bags for my stuff, and I got a console insert to expand my center console. But they're not available for newer XJs. Our vehicles are great in some ways, but they lack severely in the storage space department.
Good luck.

Thanks a bunch for the insight. I would love to know who makes bolt on pockets for the doors, good idea too on looking for a possible swap of door panels.
I guess the other option is for me to stop carrying so much with me

Thanks again!

A girl can never carry too much stuff! We never know when we might need something . Here's a link to the thread I saw about pockets. I didn't read the whole thing since it's not something I need.

I believe the door storage was on option on the 97+ limited models. Anyway, a real easy fix is to get the netting out of a mid 90's ranger/b2000 ext. cab. Just bolt it to your door and - BOOM - instant storage. If the net bungee is loose, just pull it tight, tuck it in the framing, and bolt it on. That's how I got mine tight. 1st pic is before tightening, 2nd is after.

Hi everybody, This is my first post in this forum

Do you know if it will fit on a Cherokee 1986?
