do the stripes. you can always paint over them.

 

Forget the stripes, Paint the body (from the body line, just below the mirrors ) down with Rhino liner. Include the front, hatch and push bar. And call it a day.

 

I think the stripes would look good. My taste would be to go with tiger/zebra stripes though.

i want to paint over mine and either make them better or get rid of them.

 

Do the stripes in another color rather than black, maybe orange, red or blue. You said your headliner was going to be blue, so do the stripes in blue. Kindof like the camero white with blue stripes

see thats what i was thinkin too, i dont care if ppl don't like it i just wanna make it different alittle bit. on top of the stuff i mentioned i was planing on doing, i got a 3'' lift kit from rusty's, well actually i got it from where i work at a junkyard :-)

 

I got stripes on mine, but they are not racing ones, they are more along the lines of the old cuda ones.

 

lift it. have "mine" airbrushed on the front fenders? try something with the exhaust, not alot of xj's here in central florida have cool pipes. i built my own snorkel, designed my own lights ( LEDS ) & i have dual pipes with a dual-tone muffler that sounds low until you jump into it, then it goes to straight pipes. try a biilet grille. i also, have little stickers on doors for all of the ford's & yota's i recover. LOL

ur xj looks nice . If i do rinoline it i probably will only spray from the bodyline right under the door handle all the way down to the rocker panel
