Love this XJ, and love the mileage, but check out the price.

Same problems around me man. If it has under 100k they jack it up over 7k for a car thats 10 years old!

the sad thing is that they probably will. It's amazing to me that they would put that price tag on it though. I'm gonna keep an eye on it and see how long it takes and how much, if any, they have to drop the price. If they drop it enough, I may buy it!!

my 95 is still under 72k miles and if i ever wanted to sell it i would ask around 6 to 7 for it only cuz i know thats way over priced and id get to keep it

but then if someone wants it for that much its theirs

Wow, that's crazy high. I just bought a 96 with 105 for $2800. It is in nice used shape inside and out. 9k is insane.

That being said, there is an awful lot of garbage out there at dealers for $4k, especially here in Dallas.

There is a guy/dealer that had a few xjs that were fleet vehicles and two of them were under 40k miles 00 and 01 i think for 8-9.5k and older ones with less than 80k for 5-7.5k and seemed like good deals but i didn't have the money at the time. I recently saw that he still had the one in the 20k miles and about 3 others where as he started with about 10 -12 total!

I picked up my 2000 with 65K from a dealer MINT for 5900, i didnt feel to bad about it, I whould rather have a nice rig that hasnt had the crap kicked out of it, rather than a hacked up turd for 4K, that's the cheapest youll find a 99 to 01 up hear.

Its priced for negotiation. He does not expect to get that much but I bet he gets at least 7500 for it. I love those limiteds though. I test drove a couple before buying my sport. I like the 16" wheels that came stock.
