Had a guy a few years back tell me "Why dont you just get a new H3 they already look just like everything you've done to your jeep anyway" I said ya know you're right they do, So instead of getting a FN TRAILBLAZER with a wanna be Jeep grille, I'll keep my original idea XJ instead of buying a gender challenged, HUMMER name badge on a blazer platform for 10k more than just a regular POS blazer.

All these poser H2 and H3 owners really fell for the ole bait n switch. You get a real HUMMER then I'll ooh n ahh. Till then I'm sure I'm just as close to the $75k price tag as the REPLICA owners. Only I'll be farther down the trail...

Its technically an suv...

I just rented a spring compresser, and its not the better kind.
My boss shows up to pay me, and says "Oh, Ive got a set of those that go on the outside of the spring. I would have let you borrow them if you had asked."
Really? I told you I was doing my lift kit this weekend...

No one gets hurt unless they do it wrong. I put in 4.5" tj coils with the control arms and tracbar off and they were still to long to do without a compressor. Depends on your coils. Did a buddies with xj 4.5" coils by taking off the control arms and tracbar no problem.

Im not using it with an impact, which is what most of the people who get injured by spring compressors were using. And good for you, but I wasnt having luck andd Id rather try something new than to continue to try and muscle them in.

Im only installing 3 inch lift coils, but Im not removing my control arms, so its a little difficult.I fear my control arms as I had such a big problem with the trackbar.

Mine says truck...
Both of them are wrong its a suv...
then again I dont mind when people refer to it as a truck.
I take it fishing, I take it hunting, I tow with it, I use it for work, I use it for liesure, my cargo is tools not kids, my back seats are small and uncomfortable.
Sounds more like a truck than a station wagon.

Actually... As much as xj owners (me included) hate it, they are legally classified as wagons. DOT seems to think that.. My two cents
