Not according to "FN' Jeep" it's not. And even the registration says it's an SUV, no light truck or truck. Colorado has particular plates for trucks out here.. and my plates don't have TRK on them.

Maybe Colorado does things different.... most of North America's registration refers to a Jeep as a Station Wagon, or truck, depending on year and model.

Mine's a station wagon.

Every state I've lived in the past 5 years or so, Jeeps are classified on the registration as an SUV. It's not just Colorado, but the majority of the states in the U.S. classify them as an SUV.

I'm not arguing. lol. I'm just stating facts.

A sport utility vehicle (SUV) is a generic marketing term for a vehicle similar to a station wagon, but built on a light-truck chassis. Since SUVs are considered light trucks and often share the same platform with pick-up trucks, they are regulated less strictly blah blah yadda yadda. Although designs vary, SUVs have historically been mid-size passenger vehicles with a body on frame hassis similar to that found on light trucks. The EPA designated AMC's compact Cherokee as a "light truck" (EPA being the USA's Environmental Protection Agency).

I've driven Jeep SUVs since about 05, nothing about the chassis is remotely close to a pick up chassis. Not even the 4x4 I own resembles it. Different suspension and rear gears plus the build of the rear end for what it's designed for. Either way, this is getting way off topic .. back to the orginal topic.

"hey do you take your kids to soccer pratice in that thing"... why yes I do, then it's off to the trails after wards!

I'm reckless, but I'm not stupid. With a set of 33x12.5s and four 15x10 steel wheels in the back, I wasn't gonna win.
Idk what it is about a jeep, people are always looking to race. Just tonight I had a brand new ford explorer try pressing me. So here in ny, when the streets are empty you have a l fun since no one can get hurt
And I'll only do it for a light. Tell me how I put them to shame.

Mine's a station wagon.
My Michigan Registration says Station Wagon. MI Registration also classifies Tahoes, Suburbans, and most minivans as Station Wagons.

"Sport-Utility" is a marketing term, not an actual class of vehicle. How do you classify what "sport" means? It's different to every vehicle.
