A guy got stuck in the snow in his New F250 so I pulled him out. He turns and says to me," Oh I didn't realize your jeep was 4x4, is that the company vehicle?" Lol I told him," yeah I drive around in the work jeep pulling out idiots that are stuck" his wife laughs and says, " I told you we've shoulda brought my jeep." lol

Before I put my new tires on when I first bought the XJ it had crazy wobble, and that got her screaming and refusing to drive it (which was ok with me haha), but now its got new tires and a lift and she secretly likes driving it

Yesterday a lady-friend of mine upon telling me to drive safe said: "Your jeep can always be replaced, you can't."

I wanted to shout, "You mean repaired. You can't simply replace a man's jeep!"

She did, but she was out of my life for a while and doesn't know what the XJ means yet.

I haven't heard that one. Maybe people would stop bugging me for rides if I told them that. LOL

i keep a helmet and i tell them to put it on when they get in... works everytime.

i use it in sanctioned events where its mandatory, but its awesome to see the look on their face. also good when people are asking about the saftey of your build. ive had someone where it before in all seriousness cause they were scared.

That's awesome. It'd be funny to have a full harness and helmet just in the drivers side. When people got in start strapping in and look at them and say " don't worry you should be good "

When the wife and I had our 89 mostly stock Cherokee I climbed a bank to let a guy in a Ramcharger by. His comment as he struggled to get by while crawling over a fairly small rock was "get a real four wheel drive". I was rather pissed since I had the harder line!

When getting parts for my daughter's jeep I get the "Grand" question all the time. I even got the 4WD? question when wanting to get a ujoint for the front drive line.
