My uncle was watching my buddy and I were putting in my reman and he comes over " what did this thing have, a little v6?"
Me: "no it's a Chrysler from the 1990's you know Chryslers"
Him: "I thought it was a jeep"
Me: " well it is but jeep hadn't been its own company since the late 60's"
Him: "oh so it's a v6"
Me: face palm "it's an inline 6"
Him: " OH like the old dodge slant 6 right"
Me: face palm
He then looks at the engine and says " oh wow I always heard these things had terrible engines"

Forgot about the body lift question. I have been asked a few times if I had a body lift on it.

"Do you actually like caked on mud?? Why not clean it and wax it? Make it shine!"

::forehead slap::

I didn't go for a 2 hour drive around numerous back roads looking for puddles to wash it.

First one I get a lot... I reply with at least my diffs aren't leaking.

Second I don't get much cause most of my friends have or have owned jeeps and know it gets fixed after the part is completely missing lol.

Girlfriend said the third to me once. Then I pulled a bronco out of a rut up to my doors and I haven't heard it since lol.

Ugh... I would kill someone in a HOA. I love my land and I hate cookie cutter houses...

Oh another note, showed my dad a picture of the rear end on a home built RTC ramp. He asked if it was broke cause the axle was sitting at a stupid angle lol

I drive a stock XJ and during a ride last weekend as I made it through a mudhole, my buddy's wife said "Why do you put so much money into your cherokee?! (3" lift on 33's) That stock cherokee made it through just fine!!" Needless to say I was laughing pretty hard as he just glared at her.

Some d-bag in an Audi gave me thumbs down tonight. I asked how much he has spent on repairs to keep his POS running for the past year. He shut up.

Every day. Though its stopped since I painted my door jambs black, makes it look a lot cleaner. Plus here in town today I saw one doorless Wrongler, 5 doorless XJs, 2 doorless 4runners, and a doorless blazer.
