Back on topic my brother in law recently told me it was not safe to take my jeep off road with my three year old as a passenger. He said and I quote "those things can tip over". This from a man who makes his six year old wear a helmet when riding his big wheel on the lawn in the back yard.

was on the way home from a wheeling trip with a buddy an accidently cut him off. Totaled his yota an all it did to my 85 was put a dent in my fender an bent the spindle. His wife was furious! He had to drive her car to work for 3 months till he got a new one. My xj drove merrily around for 35k more miles before I couldn't justify $2,500 on repairs to pass inspection.

Awhile ago I posted how this one girl in my grade always mocks my XJ and says how much better her gas mileage is in her little Aveo. I would always just tell her "Wait till winter comes, then I'll have the last laugh" Well, that revenge came. The hill going up towards my school (the same one I ran out of gas on near the top) is pretty big, and just the other day it was covered in snow because the school's crappy Ford with a dumpbed and a snowplow couldn't clear the road. So I saw the road and though, this is gonna be fun, and whadya know, the girl in her Aveo got stuck half way up the hill, her tires were spinning and she was sliding backwards. So what do I do? drive past her, wave, and honk the horn with a huge grin on my face! And even more funny, a total of about 8 people in my school drive XJ's, the only cars in the parking lot were those 8 XJ's and mine!!!

LOL nice. I love how us XJ owners always have the last laugh! There's only two XJs in my school's parking lot and I drive the lifted one. My school has roughly 2,500 students and I just find it funny that I only see one other XJ in the parking lot. Rich kids.......

My girlfrind an I both drive lifted xjs, we have the first 2 spits in the lot right next to each other. Then there are 3 others (all stock) In our lot. 3 more in a different lot. And the sickest one is driven by the school nurse lol

yea, my school only has about 600 and that's between 7th and 12th grade so my school is freaking tiny compared to yours. My town can also be considered as a kind of redneck town so we have a lot of older trucks, lifted trucks out the @$$ and jeeps, there is only one rich kid that has a nice car, she has a saab. But that's only because she has a rich daddy that buys her whatever the hell she wants.

I know, i didn't have my camera with me and my cell was dead, I will try to get a pick someday but there will be other cars in the lot so it won't be as epic, it was also a kind of fluke day because not all of them own their jeeps so they usually drive one of their parents other cars.

I can list them if that's any consolation.

When an XJ runs through a red light camera the photo is framed and sent to the owner for an autograph. It’s then auctioned on EBay to raise money. All proceeds are donated tp “Feed the starving Hummer owner’s childerns charity”.
