Not all women are like that. I love my cherokee and wouldn't trade it for the world. When I show up at work covered in mud, theres this one guy that always asks me if i need to borrow a few bucks to wash my Jeep.
I politely reply that i will wash it in the next mud hole i find.... but would really like to use him as a speed bump.

You do need to wash your XJ from time to time though- sometimes it's nice to have a fresh coat of mud on the paint, rather than a fresh coat of mud on the old mud.

"Barbie Jeep"-- from my 5'1" friend who doesn't even own a vehicle.
"My truck can run over your Jeep"-- friend with a lifted chevy p/u with 35's
They don't really bother me that much though, 'cause I know my stock XJ will beat their lifted truck any day, and twice in January.

Your inability to type without filling the screen with curse words is what I meant by lack of English. We're Jeep owners, not thugs. Or did I miss the memo?
MrFajita - I'm an XJ owner, just like the rest of you. I believe what I said can be said to anyone... regardless of the make and model of their vehicle. There comes a time when one should be able to act their age while still boasting proudly about their vehicle.
All I'm saying is that half of you come across as inbred rednecks. And it's embarrassing. Sure, be proud of your vehicle and what you've put into it and what she's gotten you through. But grow up.
A reply to this post isn't needed, as I'm sure it'll be full of asterisks and run downs.
Things not to say to an XJ owner: Grow up.
-Because apparently only children own them.

My dearest 16 year old Griff.
I voiced an opinion, darling. An opinion MANY people on here share, yet unfortunately I'm the only one who cared enough to say something. I've had numerous messages telling me how much they agree with all that I said - great. I know a lot of people on here are ashamed of the childlike behaviour. I can appreciate how someone of your age wouldn't understand why I said what I said. You'll take that as an insult, however I assure you it's not meant as one.
I just find it a little bothersome that the vast majority of posters on here think they're so much better than every other vehicle owner, and that XJ's are the only vehicle that should be respected, and can only curse and run every non XJ owner down. It's pathetic. Especially considering how old some of you are.
I'm 28. I'm young enough to still get out there and get covered in mud and roll over fallen trees and "roll with the cool kids", but I'm also old enough to know that it's NOT "cool" to talk like you've never entered an educational facility. Have a little respect, is all I'm saying. This IS a public forum that anyone on the internet can see - keep that in mind. There are a LOT of children out there, considering buying Jeeps, that will see these forums. Parents of those children will see these forums. And those parents, having seen the crap that's mentioned on here, may think twice about letting their children turn into... gasp... you.
Rants over.
Never tell an XJ owner's girlfriend how much money he's put into it.
I think we can all attest to that.

Rant's not over, apparently. Reading through, you reposted 3 and a half pages after everyone else let it go. Mature. Maybe some people do agree with you. It's a big forum. But if there's one thing I have learned to appreciate since I joined this forum waay back in March, it's this:
On CherokeeForum, it doesn't matter what kind of XJ you drive. It can be a stocker or it can be barely even a Jeep anymore. It can be 2wd or 4wd. It can be a 2001 with a cracked head, or it can be a Renix with bizarre electrical problems. Or it can be in between any of these extremes. People like I and ppl who typ like dis generally tolerate each other, no matter how annoying we find each other to be. Everybody's helpful, everybody's tolerant. Us Southern Missouri boys get along with the New Jersey-ites. It's what, to me, makes this forum so freaking cool. Every walk of life converges to discuss what we love: our Cherokees. And some of us aren't as well groomed and courteous as others would like. That's what asterisks are for. Me, I was raised in a household where those asterisked words were certainly not taboo. Maybe you didn't. But you don't need to go all crazy. Anybody out of high school would have looked at that poor kid's post, chuckled at the antics of those crazy kids doing completely harmless things, and moved on. And here's who you have offended so far:
-Anybody not out of High school
-"Inbred Rednecks"
-And Jeepers not "embarrassed" to be Jeep owners because of the lack of eloquence of their peers.
So, in conclusion: Grow up and show the world that YOU can be the bigger person you CLAIM to be; and STOP doing everything in your power to **** off demographics that you do not agree with.
-An offended, 17 year old high school student and "Inbred redneck."
Also, people who call 16 year old boys "darling" usually get raped in their prison cell.

"Maybe you should try giving your car a bath. It needs it"
Not a CAR and I will NOT give it a bath. Mother nature will decide when to do it for me.
Besides that, I like my truck looking rough and dirty
