In high school I had this friend who was fairly short. Well when I had the 5" lift and the 32" tires he always had to jump into my jeep.
Well all cherokee people know that the roof of the jeep isn't that tall. Well, the first day he took a ride with me he jumped up into my jeep smacked his head on the outside frame of the roof and fell back out and hit the ground. I was laughing so hard. He was pissed but to embarassed to say anything.

Lol. Working in an auto parts store you here a lot of random things like that..
Like one guy told me he has Chevy grand cherokee with a V6.....
And aside from jeep I had a person tell me he got the wrong spark plugs for his Chrysler Neon with the 5.0L in it....After I heard that I was like.. "Let me put you on hold..." and walked away fro a couple minutes... didn't want to laugh on the phone..
Back to jeep... I've heard a lot of people calling them a V6, and actually one did it today. I had people call there cherokee's grand cherokee... I've had a person ask for a battery for there 1990 grand cherokee.. And I like this one the most. Someone tried telling me that his dodge cherokee uses a bulb for a headlight and not a sealed headlight. After 5 minutes and actually pulling the darn thing out for him I showed him that it was a sealed beam, and then he was surprised I knew that and asked me if I could show him how to do the spark plugs on his now dodge jeep V6... Sometimes you just want to take their jeep away...

LMAO! haha that just made my night. 4 times 4 Wow, it's kinda scary now a days.... A lot of people don't know who makes their car or what the name of the car is. Even when there is a badge on it that tells them...
I understand people can't do certain things, but atleast know what you own...

I think it would be a great Candid Camera skit to get a vehicle, and change the badges to another manufacturer/model and then take it to the dealership or auto parts store and try getting parts or accessories for it. That would be a hoot to watch people's reactions trying to figure out what it is. Or better yet, do that as a used car lot.... try to sell the Ford Explorer that is actually a Jeep Cherokee or something and film the whole thing.

Yep, that's why I stopped getting pissy when I get asked if I have a Cherokee or Grand Cherokee. Auto parts guys have to deal with a lot of idiots that don't know the difference and it's a lot easier to just say the word "Cherokee" again.
