Our first date we tipped my yj on 38's. I thought shed never call back, now were getting married! Lol. Ps showing off by driving over concrete freeway dividers wheelin with a new girl isn't advisable!

 

im in the process of doing a motor swap and weve been talking about stuff for the jeep. (she loves the xj) i told her im thinking about taking the a/c out. she says "why would you do that it works fine" i said "i have doors that can come off and working windows." her "oh btw put the doors back on and dont ever take em off again" me "the only reason you dont like it is because after a few days of riding around in good weather with the doors off then it starts raining and you get wet. but after i put the doors back on and the weather gets nice you tell me to take em off again"

me "i dont know yet"
her "well everyone is looking at us"
me "fine ill make it stop" (slams the gas) "there no more whistling"
her "great now everyone is starring at us because you squealed tires."
me under my breath "better than my intake whistle"

So this is totally off topic from this thread but I have to share...

I think this was our second or third date but one time we went out wheeling and I was driving my bronco with no registration or insurance and we got pulled over...... I didnt tell her that I didnt have insurance so I was thinking crap... Good bye almost girlfriend...
But anyways the cop pulls me out of the truck tells me this long drawn out lecture about how I should be going to jail and that my gf wont be there when I get out cause she will be disgusted and wont wanna be with me anymore and a bunch more bs...
So after all that he tells me to sit in my truck again... At this point my gf is in tears cause she overheard him say I might me going to jail. So he comes back, tells me to step out of the truck again and to stand next infront of his car (this is when your heart starts racing) he stops me and hands me a ticket for $65 dollars for invalid dispaly of licence plate and says "dont let me catch you driving this thing around here again"....

PHEW! I jump back in the truck and hug her and tell her all I got was a ticket and she looks at me and says "your gonna get this danm thing to pass smog tomorrow"! And of course me being a dumb teenager I persaude her to continue towards our wheeling adventure and we had a bunch of fun after that but I never was allowed to drive with her in the car until I fxed the emissions and got insurance.

 

She calls this, jeep Facebook

 

"omg we're going to tip over" love my wife but damn lol

 

"If you ever try to divorce me, I will take your Jeep."

She doesn't care to drive or wheel it, she just knows what a threat that is.

 

GF - "Why dont you clean it out and put the back seat down?!"

Me - "Im lazy and it doesnt concern me if the back is dirty."

GF - "But I wanted to have fun...."

Me - ""....still didnt clean it out. Dropped her off and went fishing

Needless to say she loves my XJ

 

True guy! Gotta love going fishing best one yet!!

 

It is the time of year where I really fish alot. When I got back she was like "you chose fishing over me in your jeep?!" My reply was cmon outside...I showed her my catch for the day. And said "do I know fishing or what?"

 

1st off Id like to say my fiancee baught the XJ for valentines day. The day we went out roading for the first time she was haveing a good time and says "Honey you need a lift" umm ok I think she's a keeper.

 

Wife in right seat: " I hate how your jeep, its so bumpy"

Wife in left seat: "I love your jeep, it's so fun to drive"

So maybe I should mount a steering wheel on the pass side.

Yup same here gotta love them bed fish!

 

When we take the dog to the lake or haul around crap she loves it. She's also good with no car payment.

But she doesn't really understand that working on it is FUN.
