Default Throttle body spacer?

Just wanted to get some info from you guys on a throttle body spacer. My buddy is running one on his 97 4.0 and says its awesome. Just wondering if any of you jeepers have one and if it's worth it or not.

Cool

I got one on my jeep. Scored it at local jy for $3. I like it better throttle response and 1 more mpg. Gain a little more power in take off. Mines the high preformance helix

They are junk. The previous owner put one on my jeep and I took it off. Hated the stupid whistle when I changed gears. It does make a good paper weight though.

Its snake oil don't bother with one.Now having the throttle body bored will show more throttle response.

Thanks for the info every one. Probably just going to save my money and put it towards the spectre cold air induction.

Must have, because getting 1 more MPG requires something major for the 4.0L, like a complete cat-back exhaust.

The spectre is nice man. Easy to install. Raises your intake up a bit. My Stroker runs a bit lean With 24LB injectors so obviously enough air gets through them.
The do make a little noise on the inside. Some people like it.. some hate it. Ive had mine for probably about 4-5 years now. I did have to replace one rubber neck for 8$`

I think the cheapest place to get one right now is Advanced Auto with a coupon.

TB spacer is a waste of money.
