Do throttle body spacers make a big difference in performance mpg ext.?

No. It really doesnt do anything for a fuel injected vehicle. Alot of people say that it gives you a nice whistle though. I have a tb spacer and i cant tell a difference nor do I have a whistle. IMO they are a waste of money.

 

X2 on the waste of money. Picked one up for $10 and put it on. No changes at all. Zip. Zilch. Nada. None.

Don't waste your time and money on these. I have no idea where these companies are getting their numbers for the adds.

 

They add tons of power.....and if you believe that I will sell you one that I won at IRO's costumer appreciation event last year that comes with the spacer, both gaskets and new bolts. I just never put it on because I wanted to keep all my driveline from breaking under the added stress of .001 horse power! LOL And IRO doesn't even believe in added horse power hype from the product. We were all sitting around the campfire laughing about how people kept requesting they add one to their line up of parts. They responded by selling a 1" thick chunk of $50 aluminum. Oh and not one of the guys at the shop had one on there jeep. (At that time anyways.)
