lol... yeah, it's hot here most of the time too... but I guess in the morning, it gets close enough to the dewpoint to "dew" it up... so it comes in handy that way.

nah, you don't need to do that... like I said, PM Customizer1000 - he told me what to do with that, but I forgot... I believe it was windex and steel wool, but I can't remember exactly if that was it.

Attachment 129922 My factory privacy glass is tinted and mirrored. The dome lights have to be on to see inside. And I mounted my sub, in the rear passenger side cargo pocket. With the speaker grill painted to match the carpeting. In fact all the speaker grills are painted to match the carpeting. I didn't want it to tempt any break ins. Plus I wanted my cargo space back. You wouldn't know looking in, there is close to $2000 in stereo equipment in it. All automotive glass does stop UV rays. Making my transition lensed glasses, useless in the car. I have to hold them out the window to darken them up. But they change back too fast, to make that worth while.

Are the front windows also slightly tinted? I always thought the older ones had a slight green hue to them compared to others.

Just a correction on this... if UV rays were what made your lenses change, they would change on overcast days which I know they do not, because I have family that have them and they complain that they only work in direct sunlight. UV rays are still present on overcast days.

The factory tinting does block out some UV rays, but not nearly the amount that a film tint blocks. We had a buick century that had the factory "UV" tint - GM's brand is "Soft Ray" - still leaves the windows clear, just has a slight green/gray hue. The UV blocking factor was so poor on it that the speakers in the rear deck were deteriorated and blown because of the sun damage... we had put portable dvd players mounted to the headrests that wound up melting and eventually were rendered useless because of the sun damage. I tinted the windows in the car with a film tint, replaced the speakers, and got a new set of dvd players and they were protected by the tint. The other advantage of film tint is that it will also block out heat - most factory privacy glass is just that - privacy. It does a poor job of blocking out heat.

Even if you had the last year Buick Century (made in 2005) With the Best premium stereo option. They came with paper coned speakers. Not until the last couple of years, Have I seen polymer speakers offered in Factory car speakers options. Although tint will lessen the heat build up, you have to take in to consideration the color of the vehicle. I have had lighters explode in white delivery vans (with out any rear windows) after being left in them. And yes my glasses do change on overcast days while outside, especially in winter. The best protection is a mirrored tint. And the reason why that is chosen most in Arctic expeditions and Mountian climbing. (where heat is not a factor, just sunlight.) Also why the E glass manufactured for residential and commercial buildings have a slight mirrored tint to them now. Transition lenses are suppose to now offer lenses, that will change even behind automotive glass. And I have changed out the speakers in my 21 year old Jeep, due to deterioration. But then I wouldn't have expected them to last 20+ years. (I hate Jensen Speakers anyways) In the mean time the leather seats are in great shape. With no sun fade, cracks, or cuts. Same for the carpeting. But the seats where in the same environment (for the same length of time) as the speakers.

It was the premium stereo and it was a '99.

Hard to say... are you using the uploader, or trying to post them from a url (website).

Only thing I can say is make sure the file format you're trying to upload is one of the file types mentioned and make sure it is not too large.
