I have a Tire carrier bumper by Rockhard 4x4 it was listed at a grand. I wanted a Warn but they sell for $1700.00 + and the ones for less than a grand, I thought were kind of chinsey. Rockhard 4x4 seems to be well made and solid, lord knows it weighs a ton.

I bought a custom4x4fabrications bumper and tire carrier for about 750 bucks three years ago. It was the 96 down modified to fit 97+.
I am very pleased with it. Only thing is I was forced to cut the rear quarters off, too much rust. the bumper has quite the profile so I built a frame to mount JCR quarter guards to make the body appear to match the bumper.
I'm toying with selling this bumper and getting the JCR bumper for cut quarters so I can take advantage of the work I've done to them.

Yikes $1400 that is a bit much and more than the $1094.00 I paid which included tax, as I bought it locally (4-Wheel Parts). Is the $1400.00 including shipping? It does come in 2-large packages, the tire swing portion is fairly heavy and the bumper is very heavy.

Here's the link to where I bought it from. I opted to add $25 to the 96 down to fit 97+ for when I cut my flares. Back when i bought it, they didn't offer bare steel.
