30s aren't worth it. They are basically the same as 235/75r15 but more expensive. They are less then half an inch taller in most cases. I always steer customers away from 30s. I tell them either get 235s or go to 31s. The roadians are ok tires. I had them on for awhile on one of my jeeps. Shouldn't be any issues for what you are planning. But they don't have any aggressive looks like you want. Unless you're talking about the nexan mud tires?

The nexan are nice for the price. But if you don't get much snow I wouldn't even be worried about that. But like I was saying, any all terrain that looks "aggressive" to your liking will be fine for your purposes. The cheaper tires like you are looking into aren't the performers the higher priced ones are, but since you just need a tire for road and gravel you'll be fine with whatever you choose.

show me a pic of one you think is aggressive and I'll let you know what I know and heard from customers. When people ask for an aggressive all terrain I show them the duratracs because that's all that's really aggressive per se. The grabbers have big lugs but aren't really aggressive looking. Just show me what interests you, and I'll help you out with some knowledge that I have on them. We will all be able to share experiences most likely. But I do strongly believe in getting a tire that's known with positive reviews. Tires are often overlooked, but imo they are one of the the most important parts of are vehicle and should be treated as such.

The 2 you have pictured look to be cooper at3 and the duratracs...both out of your budget but great tires. I don't like treadright or 4 ply tires hahah

The bad reviews is due to them not performing well offroad compared to others. But they are very popular. Ride good, nice and quiet, and they last a long time. These are popular sellers. I could get them for myself for like 50 bucks hahah crazy right? But I honestly think they are better then the tread rights you are looking at.

Alright so I might just bite the bullet and get some Duratracs. Does anyone know of a rebate I could get then with? Cheapest place to buy? I'd be really happy to get them $150-160 a pop.

nice choice. Quality wins out most of the time for me as well. I doubt you'll find a place to get them that cheap. One of the top choices on the market. I don't think I have ever seen a special on them from our distributors haha.
