Did any one see it? The guy's seem to know what there doing but at the end of the show they installed a removable winch on a XJ. All they did was weld a piece of square tubing in between the unibody rails for the support. I'm not to sure the unibody could handle a hard pull. What do you think?
Anyone know how the 95 pathfinder hood works? It looks like it has 3 holes in the front of the hood for engine cooling. I was actually thinking about doing something like it last year but to the front fascia.

I saw that.. they really did just weld it onto the front of the crossmember, it didn't even look like it went all the way across to where the bumper bolts on.

The second question in my original post was questioning the pathfinders hood. I was wondering if anyone knew how it worked. I'm assuming their are air pathways through out the hood to route the air for engine cooling. Last year I was going to attempt something like this on the fascia but I didn't have the nerve to try. I was thinking something like this but put the holes over the headlights.

Cutting holes in the header panel will do you NO good, Nissan put those there just for style and looks, they do nothing for cooling. The hitch mount they installed did look a little cheesy and weak.
