They welded it straight to the unibody. I just re watched it. The bumper is just around it not welded and not safe. And even if it was, it looks awful.

I hope someone with a lot more experience then me will write in and make a point that it's not going to work. I am stoked to see a XJ being modded. I can't wait to see more.
