Don't know, but there have been guys in the past on this forum that have posted about the problems they have driving in 4wd on pavement. ( most were use to AWD cars and didn't know the difference )
So I try to answer the question that is asked, not what I think he may want to know.

With 32's, 3.55's and an aw4, a friend of mine and I had an xj upto about 60mph in 4 Low, before anyone jumps at this, lol, this was at the local grass drag event, . I wouldn't do it to anything I cared about, but we threw that thing together for that purpose, it was a lot of fun, lol.

Definitely a fair stance.....I've been around car forums long enough to know that common sense is no so common. I should have clarified in my initial post. This is for snow conditions.....as in unplowed, unpacked, snow. I just wanted to make sure I wouldn't hit 50 and end up on the side of the road. Like I said, it hasn't been an issue before because I drive subarus besides this rig so I just wanted to make doubly sure.

I drove my TJ in 4Hi in snow a bunch. Usually went about 45-50 mph with ease. I wouldn't try to go much higher than that on crappy VA highways.
