Default Towing Question

I am planning a cross country move in the near future and I'm going to be towing the Jeep behind my Expedition. Does anyone know if it is ok to pull the Jeep with a tow dolly or do i need to use a car carrier? I have read different opinions on this topic. Any input would be much apprectiated. I have a 2000 Jeep Cherokee 4x4 with Automatic Transmission. Thanks all.

When u use a tow dolly it still puts wear and tear on your drive train even with it in N I would prefer a hauler or trailer
