Default Track bar

I put the rough county 6.5 into Cherokee and after driving awhile the tie rod end for the track bar was shot and causing me to have death wobble. Any one know what moog or other tie rod ends I can use to replace it. Instead if getting another RC one.

i'd call RC. but you should have a double shear one at that height.

You should definitely go double sheer. One not made by Rough Country

Iron Man fabrication double shear. There's a guy with an XJ on tons that has that track bar, the bracket and track bar were strong enough that the unibody gave before the track bar or bracket either one even thought about giving.

Nothing wrong with a heim for a trackbar but no one makes a heim long enough to work with the RC track bar. Been there, tried that.

There is an upgraded TRE you can get from NAPA. Its much beefier than the original one. PN: ES140R

That's a MOOG part.

But, I do agree. You should have a double shear track bar at that height. Any TRE is going to wear out at that angle.

OR you can call RC. Tell him your joint is wore out in no time and they'll send you another one for free. I've got 3 of them from there.

I looked at the moog TRE yesterday and the thread length didn't look long enough.

You're eventually going to want to dump the track bar altogether and get a new one from a quality company. Better to do that now than later. But yeah, if you're on a budget, you could always go back to RC and keep on replacing it every few months... If you're into that sort of thing

Yep it will. Might as well call RC at the same time and get it in the mail. That way, you'll have a back up for when it fails again.

Take off your track bar, take it to the auto parts store, test out the Moog TRE to see if it'll work.

If so, buy it. If not, wait for the RC TRE to come in.

Either way, call RC and get your free TRE.
