Btm24...what do you mean about IPhones? BTW they track phones too. See jbsjunk on the first page, follow the link, read it (everyone) then you can talk with knowledge and facts. LOL But that doesn't matter to some. Good jokes though.

You are most welcome. Check out "AdBlock" if you want to stop 99% of ads. The only ads I get are the ones that run with video on YouTube. Don't know how to block those! Do you? Anybody?

I run adblock and script block with my Firefox and never seen a ad on Youtube. Might be something in your preferences there to take care of that. I never even see commercials when I watch South Park on their site, I did when I ran Explorer.

Thanks, I'll download ScriptBlock and see what happens. I run a Mac w/ Safari on Lion with add-on's 1Password, AdBlock, Do Not Track+, and MacKeeper. I hope ScriptBlock will work with these. I'll report back.

Kinda like the Sun, the Moon, the Clouds and Stars Following you around. Don't believe me, go outside and look up, I swear that more that one of these are out there waiting for you ☺

I am Kidding....
Here is a possible solution..If your browser is Firefox
Abine has made a handy Firefox extension that lets you opt out of targeted advertising.
This plug-in tells you if a site is tracking you. You can then opt to block the tracking cookies.
Abine's TACO also gives you other useful information as well. You can find out if the site uses Flash cookies. And it can even tell you if a site has ever had a privacy breach.
Cost: Free
Link: www.getabine.com
System: Windows XP, Vista, 7, Mac OS X
If your browser is IE.....In Internet Explorer 6 (the version available since summer 2001), go to the Tools menu, select Internet Options and click the Privacy tab. Then click the "Advanced . . ." button; in the smaller window that pops up, check the box next to "Override automatic cookie handling" and choose "Block" under the "Third-party Cookies" heading. Click the OK button to confirm that setting.

I went to http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/scriptblock/. It seems like a PC add-on. I think Lion OS doesn't read or use Script. Can anyone shed some light on this, I don't know if I should download (or try) or not? Anyone w/ a Mac download ScriptBlock? I'll hold off until someone can help me understand better.

ScriptBlock works on Firefox only. In beta for other OS's. "Coming Soon". Dark_Latin_Guy....you described DoNotTrack+. I use it, but unless you want to type a lot of log-in's, you can use 1Password or similar add-on. Two clicks and you're in! Secure and easy. One password to remember even if your log-in is different on 100 different web sites. Know that these pages will Not remember you upon your return and you'll have to enter your stuff (name/password) each time! Every time! Peace-out.
