Id say about a month since im now having an issue with the bender i ordered. I will never understand how you just lose somebody's package...

More than likely they will be on a 1 by 1 basis through the for sale section on this forum.

Yes, PayPal will be the preferred payment method for shipped purchases. If its local pickup I'd be willing to go to Palmdale CA to meet up. Then of course cash is king in that case.

How 'bout just making them bolt onto the OEM hinge? You could option thread in studs and wing nuts for those who want a quick removal option. Also you could do OEM style mirror mount to either transfer your OEM mirrors or snag a set from the JY. Offer a set that is skinned on each side so that a set of speakers can be installed, or even just speaker boxes. A full door style frame that uses a canvas window like the wrangler for those who DD their rig. You could set up the latches and handle to use OEM parts that can either be offered as an option or can be transferred from the buyers original doors.

I'm with this. I just want a minimalistic frame to keep me... and more so my passengers from falling out.

Yeah I mean a tube fender. I don't wanna pay 400 dollars for them. It's ridiculous. Some people's jeep's don't even cost them that much!

Price up tube fenders for a Wrangler with a 4-6" flare. 400 is a decent price.

Comparatively sure. But it's still a rip off. 275 plus shipping for tube Doors is a good price.

I have noticed that there is an definite interest in them on this forum. Im going to be making them out of .120 wall tube and will using an actual XJ door latch so it will close and latch very securely (instead of the questionable gate latch I've seen people use). Im not 100% set on one design but they will be close or the same quality as the Warrior Products doors.

So far the plan is for front doors only, but if somebody really wanted a full set I'm sure I could do it. When I build mine I'll post pictures so product quality can be seen.

What would any of you be willing to pay for a set, I've seen some sets at $300+? that seems way too steep for what they really are (tube, a latch, and some pins).

Also, would you want mirrors on them or not?

Painted? Bare metal?

Also, if I'm just way off base here let me know. Just trying to make some extra money for my jeep build and meet the needs of other XJ owners that may not have welders & benders etc.

and yes I am open to shipping if needed.

I was thinking about the other day. If I had the choice I would want soft doors like you find on cj's that keep the heat in, rain out, but are easily removable and thrown in the back.

For me standard tube doors would not be convenient. Sunny one day rainy the next.

He has a point. I've made tube fenders before, and for the time it takes and materials I'd be wanting like 375$ for them. That would be the front and rear fender armor with the tube welded on.
